Assistant Extension Professor
I am originally from a large corn and cattle operation in Southwestern Nebraska. I spent six years in the U.S. Navy after high school before going to college. At the University of Nebraska-Omaha my research focused on agricultural land price forecasting and cash rental rates. At Kansas State, I completed a Ph.D. with research focused on agricultural production efficiency and cost savings as well as market impacts of biofuel production. At Mississippi State, I am working to establish a new program focusing on agricultural property values and cash rents in Mississippi and the Delta Region, and methods for benchmarking agricultural producer efficiency.
