Biography:
A faculty member since 2003, Alan Barefield's primary fields of interest deal with the economic well-being of communities. Barefield has earned the Master Business Retention and Expansion Professional designation from Business Retention and Expansion International professional association as well as receiving their Distinguished Service Award for 2010. He has garnered well over $3 million to support his outreach programming efforts.
