Biography:
Ken Hood's research and extension efforts focus on the development of economic feasibility studies for new ventures and expansion of existing agribusiness enterprises, particularly in the areas of horticulture, alternative agriculture and bio-energy. Hood is the inaugural recipient of the MSU Extension Service Mark E. Keenum Award for Outstanding Extension Faculty and serves as the co-advisor for the National Agri-Marketing Association undergraduate club and competition team. He also teaches the agribusiness firm management undergraduate class in the department.
